Frisky Boggle Erotic Word Game for Couples

Rather than limiting your design to adult board games, take any opportunity to adapt the rules of regular games and transform them into erotic variations. For instance, although Boggle is considered a nice clean family game, dirty minded couples are bound to find some naughty words scrambled among the lettered cubes. It’s easy to imagine this as the start of some frisky fun. But how do you adjust the rules to include sexy activities and fun foreplay?

BoggleTopDownFriskyForeplay small Frisky Boggle Erotic Word Game for Couples

I originally designed a version of Boggle Foreplay for our Sexy Suggestions website. There is also an online scoring form with randomly generated foreplay ideas to perform at specific point levels. However, I wanted a new version that didn’t require much up front thinking or preparation. Also, I figured the new rules should follow the original game play as much as possible so that couples could switch to the erotic version quickly.

Since the game design would provide blog and marketing content, I also wanted to tie in the Frisky Foreplay ideas lists as an option for couples who had or wanted to buy the game. And of course, once the Dirty Boggle blog post was completed, a YouTube video to promote it was next on the list.

Try coming up with your own erotic twist for Boggle and then take a look at the video below.

Here is the script for the video:

In this video, you’ll discover a way to transform Boggle into a wild sex game for couples. This hot word game will have you thinking, talking and playing dirty to win. It combines erotic talk, stripping and lots of creative foreplay. All you need is a Boggle game and a dirty mind to start a night of naughty fun. You’ll arouse both your mind and body.

Start by agreeing on the sexual forfeits you’ll be playing for. This will help build erotic tension during the game.

Your objective is to find exciting words to express love, desire and lust for your partner. At the end of each round, earn bonus points by using one of your words in a sexual context. Ah … but you don’t just talk dirty, you need to play dirty too. When you find the right words, act out your sensual ideas together as foreplay. And they don’t have to all be dirty words either. You just need to use them in a dirty way.

Here are the sexy new rules in a bit more detail.

  • First player to 120 points wins. Score the same as in the standard rules but include bonus points for performing various erotic activities.
  • Secretly write down all words you find even regular words. You can score for both and, when it comes right down to it, you’ll be surprised how they can be used in a dirty way. Exclude all words that you both found in your individual lists.
  • All dirty words are allowed even if they are rude, crude and nasty. Slang terms for body parts, erogenous zones and sexual activities are acceptable.
  • When either of you score with a word that can be used in a sensual or sexual context, gain double points by using it in a descriptive, verbal request of your lover. They then need to perform it with or for you immediately. Only one request per player per turn.
  • If you can’t think of a foreplay idea using one of your words, your partner has the option to “steal” a word from your list. If they come up with a sexy activity for you to perform, you lose the points for that word. They don’t get extra points though – just more pleasure.
  • You can decline any activity if you’re not ready for it yet but your partner gets an extra 5 bonus points.

Note that only interesting words should be used to express sexually creative desires. Avoid using words that have no special meaning or that can be used in almost any sentence. Also, try to talk as seductively as you can while being very detailed and specific with your erotic desires. Instead of “do something to my toes”, try “remove your nylons and let me sensually lick and suck each of your toes”. You get to include a stripping action and foreplay in the same turn.

I hope you enjoy Thinking, Talking and Playing Dirty together with the one you love.

Make Your Own Sexy Foreplay Dice to Spice Up Your Lovemaking

Still learning the Video Boss course material. Here is another video created to help drive traffic and interest in erotic dice games for couples interested in spicing up their lovemaking.

For more details visit the blog post Make Your Own Frisky Foreplay Dice to Spice Up Your Lovemaking - it includes the link to get the erotic dice template. The dirty dice template is an editable PDF that can be filled in and printed. It was based on the Frisky Foreplay game product that uses 3 dice combinations for a total of 216 combinations.

Here is the transcript for the video:

In this video you’ll discover a fun way to spice up your sex play using two regular dice. Add variety to your lovemaking by creating your own foreplay games.

I’m sure you’ve seen lots of dirty dice in adult stores. You may even have some of your own. Love dice are simple and fun to play with. But they can be kind of pricy especially if you want a variety of sexy dice to keep things interesting. So why not make your own? All you need is a few dice and a sheet of paper.

When you use two different coloured dice, you get 36 possible combinations. Just write these out as a list on a sheet of paper – 1/1, 1/2, 1/3 all the way to 6/4, 6/5 and finally 6/6. Now beside each combination, write out a detailed foreplay activity. Since you’re not writing on the dice, you can go beyond simple one or two word actions like most other sex dice. You’re free to include a full range of explicit foreplay techniques.

Include some exotic foreplay ideas you would secretly love to try. Design the list so you have a complete menu of sensual treats to enjoy. You can even create separate his and her versions. Make them together or surprise each other with your own erotic desires.

By creating your own sexy dice game, you can make it as wild and kinky as you want. You can even make multiple variations to suit any type of situation. Your frisky foreplay idea sheets can even be used with other regular dice games like Monopoly or Risk. Make up your own spicy rules with your partner – it’s all part of the fun.

For more frisky foreplay dice ideas, visit our website. Look for the link to our erotic dice template. It’s a PDF download that you can fill in and print. Keep a spare list handy to jot down new foreplay or sex ideas that you come across in books, magazines or websites. Then use dice to randomly select new pleasure possibilities to enjoy with your partner.

Great sex is important to your relationship. Have fun with it.

Queens Gone Wild Erotic Chess Game

In a previous post, various ideas were identified to transform chess, the classic strategy board game for two, into a bedroom game for couples. Here is a brief outline for a sexy variation of chess with a special focus on the queen. The rules for this adult board game design include a special twist that lets you play your queen again even if she’s taken once, twice or even more.

When coming up with this erotic chess game idea, I started with the title Queens Gone Wild which was inspired by the Girls Gone Wild commercials. I also wanted to tie in a reference to the fact that many women tend to prefer more foreplay as a prerequisite for great sex. More foreplay may even lead to multiple orgasms – she’ll come again and again. I also wanted to work in the ideas that “if you’re willing to continue playing with your queen, she won’t give up until you’re both satisfied” and “in her frisky sexual fantasies, the queen takes on a whole range of characters whether they be a pawn, knight, king or even another queen”. Also, since the queen is one of the most powerful pieces in chess and may be played in aggressive or protective strategies, her role could be worked into the flavour of the game as being dominant or submissive. Finally, although the ultimate goal may be to mate the king, playing with the queen leading up to the climax makes it more fun.

Rather than sticking with the exact rules of chess, I wanted to add in a few select twists that would make playing with the queen more interesting and rewarding. First, every capture event that involves a queen is assigned a foreplay activity with a degree of intimate intensity related to the pieces involved. For instance, a queen capturing a pawn may warrant a passionate kiss while a pawn capturing a queen may be rewarded with a kinkier activity. However, if the queen is out taking everyone in her path, she’s likely to be taken herself. If that happens, the controlling player no longer has any way to obtain pleasure rewards except by taking the other queen. And if both queens are taken early in play, the foreplay game loses it’s erotic appeal. To fix this, we need to let the queen get back in the game.

As a second rule modification, if your queen is taken, you have the choice of stripping an item of clothing to have her come back into the game. Your partner/opponent gets to replace your queen anywhere on your half of the board. This makes it a strip game as well as a foreplay game. It also changes how couples will play with their queen since it is not devastating to lose her but there is an erotic cost to get her back. Players may even switch to pursuing the queen vs the king to prolong the game and strip each other faster. This could even balance out any skill difference couples may have that might normally make them avoid playing regular chess together.

Eventually someone will get the other player in checkmate. This leads to one final rule modification that involves actually taking the king. By assigning a sex position, role play scenario or other kinky activity to each of the possible king capture events (pawn takes king, queen takes king and even king takes king), you can add another sexy element to help build erotic tension. Players may even strategize to obtain the sexual reward they want most. So, even after checkmate, the player can make a final move to either get another pleasure reward or set themselves up to ensure a climactic sex activity they want. Note that stalement is not permitted and you may have to move into check if you have no other move.

If you want to play Queens Gone Wild, here is an editable PDF template created with the various capture events defined with sample foreplay ideas. It’s free to download. The text areas can be edited and filled in with your own foreplay activities if you like. Download the Frisky Foreplay game if you want even more sexy ideas to add to your adult board game design.

Queens Gone Wild Erotic Chess Template

As a variation when you are not in a position to actually get physical, imagine the queen fooling around with each man/woman or fantasy creature on the board searching for an elusive orgasm. Whenever you take a queen or use your queen to take another piece, you must describe a sexual act the two are performing. Make it different each time building up to some really kinky ideas that may just be part of your own fantasies. I hope you enjoy playing erotic chess with the one you love.

An Adult Board Game Design Based on Chess?

Chess is a very popular board game that many people know how to play at least casually. It’s a great game for couples to playfully match wits possibly with intimate rewards for the winner. Most people also have an old chess board laying around their home or cottage. The EveryGame app for the iPad (my favourite foreplay game platform) even comes with a chess game included and it can be customized or completely redesigned if desired. Why not create an adult board game design based on chess? An erotic chess game would be great for couples who want to spice up their bedroom fun. This article discusses a few possible ideas to make your own sex game.

I have seen some simple strip chess variations that involve removing an item of clothing for each piece captured. There is also one that assigns foreplay activities to the type of piece captured. For instance, capture a pawn and get a passionate kiss. This variation is a little better than just stripping and does provide for some interesting foreplay possibilities. The foreplay favours could even be made relatively tame for the first game and then become more intimate in the next. And of course the overall winner of these foreplay games would receive an appropriate pleasure reward as a bonus.

This simple variation of erotic chess effectively has only six events that can be assigned a foreplay activity (pawn, knight, bishop, rook, queen, and king in check or mate). One of these events should be tied to a stripping activity for the first game at least (maybe bishops and/or knights). This doesn’t leave many options for the other capture events. Activities would also need to be relatively generic such as fondling, massaging or kissing a body part. A rule could be added that these foreplay actions are to be done only on an exposed region or erogenous zone. Couples would then have an incentive to capture/defend select pieces which would help increase the erotic tension.

Beyond just the type of piece captured, there are actually many other types of events that could be assigned a foreplay activity. The rarity or skill level required to perform the event could also correspond to the type of foreplay idea assigned. For example, the combinations of the piece captured and the capturing piece creates more unique event types (i.e. pawn takes queen or rook takes bishop). Even the type of piece used to put a king in check could be viewed as a unique event. Castling and the type of pawn promotion (doesn’t have to be a queen) are also possible events. Of course there needs to be a balance between the variety of possible foreplay ideas and the complexity of defining and using them in your adult board game design.

Also, there is no reason the rules of the board game can’t be modified slightly to accommodate or encourage certain types of desired activities. For example, losing a queen is usually fairly devastating but what if you could strip an item of clothing to get it put back on the board again. The queen could come again and again (multiple orgasms anyone). And what about the king. Why limit the rules to just getting the player in checkmate or worse stalemate? The type of piece taking the king could be mapped to a sex play activity (oral sex, doggie style, anal sex, bondage, etc.). One final foreplay activity could be squeezed in by the other player before the final climax or they could move their king to be taken the way they want.

In some adult board game designs, foreplay favours or forfeits are randomized to create sensual variety and anticipation. Although you could roll sex dice or pick foreplay activity cards in your erotic chess game, knowing what each capture event corresponds to may actually enhance the game play. It may even help balance player skill level by encouraging couples to alter their strategy for pleasure rather than conquest. But as a quick way to add more foreplay variety, include components from some of your other foreplay games. Instead of assigning specific foreplay favours to a captured piece, specify a type of foreplay selection such as erotic dice, foreplay idea cards or a set intimate questions. Although you won’t know the exact activity or challenge for each piece, you’ll still have a general idea which will still influence the game play strategy.

I hope you enjoyed these ideas to make your own adult board game design based on chess. Please leave a comment describing your variations of foreplay games using chess. An Adult Board Game Design Based on Checkers?

Checkers is a simple and popular board game that almost everyone knows how to play. Most people also have an old checkers board laying around the house. EveryGame for the iPad (my current favourite foreplay game platform) even comes with a checkers game included. And, it can be customized or completely redesigned if desired. Why not create an adult board game design based on checkers? Of course we’ll want something a little more challenging than “strip one item for each piece you capture“. That’s just too easy and a little boring when what you want is to build anticipation and desire. It’s more fun to work a little for the ultimate reward.

There are a large number of checker variations that use different board configurations, numbers of pieces and interesting rules that could all be adapted into a foreplay game for couples. The primary challenge is to retain the fast, simple play structure while designing in mechanisms to help build erotic tension. Checkers normally involves lots of capture moves so stripping and other foreplay activities should be tied to less frequent game events. Otherwise players will be licking and sucking each other constantly with little focus on the actual game. Assigning sex activities to the end of each game would draw out the erotic play too much. There needs to be a balance to make playing fun and winning even more sweet.

I like to reward skilled or lucky plays with a foreplay activity or sexual forfeit to encourage players to get into the game. Also, it’s nice to add a bit of flavour text to the sex game to give it more of an erotic appeal. Checkers is an abstract game but with a bit of context, it can be transformed into a sexy setting for randy role play. Spice it up a bit with a creative sex oriented theme and title. You may consider the pieces to be men and women in some form of erotic struggle with each other. When promoting pieces turn them into kings and queens or any other term that suits your theme. And of course you’ll want some kind of reason to be jumping each other (euphemism for sex) to get to the other side even if it is a little contrived or tongue in cheek. My view is that when you enhance the mental stimulation you increase the frisky fun factor too.

Foreplay Rewards & Forfeits

There are relatively few types of game events in regular checkers but there are some that could warrant a foreplay bonus. Stripping could also be tied to specific game events as well. However, since most people tend to wear only 4-6 items of clothing, you’ll want these events to be relatively infrequent so it’s paced over a period of time. Here are a few possibilities:

  • If you jump multiple pieces in a single turn receive a foreplay bonus
  • If you promote a piece to a king/queen receive a foreplay bonus
  • If you jump a king/queen receive a foreplay bonus
  • If you jump a king/queen with a regular piece your partner must strip an item of clothing
  • When you win a game, your partner must strip an item of clothing
  • Best 3 out of 5 games selects a sexual reward as the ultimate winner

The foreplay bonus could be determined by rolling sex dice or using foreplay cards from another sex game.

Other Variations

Using the EveryGame app on the iPad, it’s easy to create new images for the checker pieces. This opens up a few more creative possibilities (use sticky labels on physical pieces if desired – numbers mapping to detailed descriptions if required). Here are some other ideas that could be incorporated into a sexy checkers game:

  • Assign each piece with a sex position or activity (blow job, cunnilingus, doggie style, anal sex, bondage, roleplay, etc.). Randomly or strategically place the pieces on the board. Last sex position left on the board is the one performed.
  • Assign each piece a body part (hand, leg, lips, pussy, cock, foot, butt, etc.). When you jump a piece, you must use the body part of the jumper to stimulate the body part(s) jumped.
  • Assign each piece the name of a person (celebrity, historic figure, friend, politician, fictional character, cartoon, etc.). When you jump a piece, you must also describe the two or more people doing something nasty together.
  • Use wrapped chocolates or candies as the checker pieces and enjoy them each time you capture one or two.

If you want more sexy ideas for your adult board games, download the Frisky Foreplay Game. It has over 200 foreplay ideas for each of you (male and female). The sexy activities range from warm & loving to wild & kinky. Play the game as is or use the ideas in your own couples games. In Frisky Foreplay, there are six intensity levels with 36 foreplay ideas per level that map to two dice. If you play multiple games of checkers, you could advance to a new level for each game played and roll the dice to determine a foreplay favour to perform when a capture is made.

I hope you enjoyed these ideas to make your own adult board game design based on checkers. Please leave a comment describing your variations of foreplay games using the checker board/pieces.

Finding Ideas for Adult Board Game Designs

One of the things I like about adult board games is that they provide a semi-random and fun way to introduce new sex related topics or ideas. If you want to make your own sex game or spice up another board game that you enjoy playing, you’ll face the challenge of coming up with creative erotic activities to include in your game. A similar mechanism is useful in relationship games that involve intimate questions. You may be bursting with questions to ask a new or even long term partner but you don’t want to come across as an interrogator at an inquisition. An entire spectrum of intimate questions could be included in a board game format and revealed randomly in a fun way.

Many adult games use decks of cards with sexy questions, foreplay ideas, pleasuring activities or erotic challenges organized into categories or intensity levels. Cards provide enough space to include a reasonable amount of detailed text or graphics to describe an activity with appropriate flavour text as well. The content still needs to be succinctly written in just a few short sentences (unless you have really big cards). Unfortunately this requires leaving out a fair bit of background information that may be useful for some couples. This leads to the primary source of obtaining ideas for your game activities.

Many sex related ideas are best collected into a book format so they can be presented with sufficiently detailed background and contextual information. But the extra detail does introduce a different problem – individual ideas are not as convenient to access when you want them. I have a huge collection of relationship enhancement books. They all have at least a few unique and wonderful ideas that would be amazing to try out at different times. In fact, the more books you have the more difficult it becomes to find just the right activity to suit your mood. Also, once you’ve read a book, you may not necessarily remember the idea when the time comes to use it. All the detailed background information is still in your head mixed in with all the other stuff you think about. What you need is a mechanism to trigger your recall when you’re in a situation to actually use the idea. When you’re playing a foreplay game, it’s a perfect time to trigger that recall and get frisky.

Most couples have a collection of relationship enhancement or sex books or have at least come across articles about the subject in magazines or online. Although you may want to introduce new ideas in your game or help people learn more, you need to assume players have some level of background information already. The trick is to craft the idea in a way that most effectively ties in cues to related concepts that you expect people know. Your game provides a fun way to refresh their memory and create new memories as well.

As an adult board game designer, you’ll want to read as many books on the subject as possible while collecting key ideas as you go. Use a mind map or spreadsheet to record the essence of the idea. When you are designing your game, you can quickly scan the information and trigger your own recall. Without copying directly, you’ll be able to work the idea into your concept and more easily adapt the flavour text of the activity to your theme.

For a short cut, check out 500 Sex & Lovemaking Tips and 500 Intimate Questions for Couples for inspiration. Lots of ideas already condensed and organized for you.

Suck! Vampire Themed Adult Board Game Ready to Play

After creating the PNG images for the initial set of hunter and vampire oriented foreplay cards for Suck!, I was finally able to play test the adult board game design on the iPad. I am very happy with the basic play of the game. The mix of the movement and foreplay dice seem to work well together. Also, the chase aspect of the game does seem to add a bit of excitement and extra fun. However, during play testing it became obvious that the female player had a distinct advantage and won almost every time. Apparently I gave the vampiress a fairly significant bias for increasing her skill level in both the vampire and hunter categories.

Even though I tend to favour women, the foreplay activity cards had to be modified to make the game play more balanced. Gaining blood droplets corresponding to each skill category also needed to be balanced. I went through all the cards again and modified the text for some so they were not specifically favouring the female player. I also added a few additional cards with a male bias to mirror female cards I wanted to keep as is. Although it’s not perfect, subsequent play testing seemed to indicate it was much more balanced. (Note that due to the nature of the board game and time frame involved to make it available for download, full play testing that involved couples engaging in the various foreplay activities was not feasible. Most of the play testing was simulated so skill points were rewarded without the erotic challenges being performed.)

Suck! the vampire sex game for couples is ready to play.

Suck! Foreplay Game for Couples (EGE File)

If you have EveryGame for the iPad, you know how to load this file to play it. The ege file is effectively the zip file with the extension modified. Note that the zip file contains all the image files, the xml control files and the rules in PDF format. You can update these files to add or remove foreplay cards if you desire.

A Physical Version of Suck!

Lately I have been creating adult board game designs to work with the EveryGame app for the iPad. It’s great for relatively rapid prototyping and saves paper and printer ink. But the main benefit for sex games is that you can play it in bed and perform the foreplay activities without messing up the board. Just turn it off, turn each other on and start it back up right where you left off.

However, not everyone has an iPad to play with. So, I have been thinking of how to play Suck! using a physical board game. The Suck! zip file contains all the images that you need. You could them print out to play. Here is a PDF version of the board design which should produce a clearer print: SuckVampireBoard.pdf . It does have a lot of black so it might be cheaper to bring the image to a photography print kiosk and get it done. You may want to get it laminated or placed in a plastic protector too.

The card images could be arranged in a word processor to print 10 per page. You could align them to a business card template and use business card stock if desired. Or, print them on thicker paper and cut them out. For my prototypes, I laminate sheets of cards and cut them out so they’re tougher and smoother to support shuffling.

The foreplay and dice mechanism is a little trickier since it effectively uses 30 something sided dice. For this, I recommend using three regular 6 sided dice two the same colour and one different. You will also want a set of foreplay dice. Roll all three dice. If single different die is even, roll the foreplay dice and perform the action without moving. If the die is a 1, you can either move 1 or add 1 to the other two dice. Otherwise you move based on the numbers on the two same coloured dice. If you have a 12 sided die, you could use it and a regular die to determine when to perform a foreplay vs movement action.

I hope you enjoy this vampire themed sex board game for couples. Please check out some of my other foreplay game designs:

Suck! Adult Board Game Design Updates

The adult board game design I’ve been working on called Suck! is coming together. After getting the EveryGame XML configuration files setup and some auxiliary images constructed for the dice, tokens and cards, I loaded it up on the iPad for the first time last week. It looked pretty good. But there was one small detail that needed to be fixed up. The fangs and heart symbol for the male player’s level meter was obscured by the History and Options menu tabs for the game. Although it seemed to require just a slight shift of the graphics objects, it made the blood chain sequences too close to each other. The circles were already a little small to shrink down further so I needed some other design element to tie them together.

I started with a horizontal bar that the rings could be bolted onto reminiscent of a dungeon restraint. After looking at it a bit, I came up with the idea to add a vertical beam in the form of a cross to balance it aesthetically. Somewhat symbolically, the blood would then start from the cross and drip down to either the fangs or the heart. This actually made more sense in a way.

Although relatively small, this design modification required a slight terminology change for the activity cards. Increasing and decreasing skill points by convention go up and down respectively. But, if the blood droplets are added to the chain starting from the cross downward like a dripping stream, then the terminology could be rephrased to add and remove. In this way there is no directional association. As you can see, even small changes can have ripple effects to other design components.

Here is the updated board design with the cross.

SmallSuckVampireBoard v2 Suck! Adult Board Game Design Updates

I have completed the movement and foreplay images for the dice mechanism. And, just last night, I completed a set of Hunter and Vampire activities to make up the foreplay cards. (HunterCardIdeas.pdf and VampireCardIdeas.pdf) I still need to enter the text onto the card images. The content may require some modifications to fit the available space.

I also created a first draft of the rules for this vampire themed adult board game design: Suck_rules.pdf

As always, topic related comments and suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Developing Suck! A Vampire Themed Adult Board Game Design

Well, it’s been a while since my last post discussing the adult board game design called Suck! I’ve been letting various ideas percolate in my brain for a bit of time while doing other things. Although I still feel a little pressure to get it done quickly, taking a bit of time off from a project is actually a good thing sometimes. By letting your subconscious mull the ideas over, you tend to come up with much more creative results. Of course, there is also the school of thought that suggests you should “strike while the iron is hot” and keep a concentrated focus on your project. Keeping the momentum up is important too – if you rest too long, ramping back up to speed can take a lot of effort. So let’s get back into developing this vampire themed adult board game design.

To start, here is a brief overview of this erotic horror themed foreplay game. Players take on the roles of both vampire and hunter/victim as they chase each other around a board. Along the way, they encounter various situations and foreplay activities that enable them to increase their skill as a vampire or hunter. They may also have the opportunity to reduce their opponent’s skill level. The first player to reach the top of their skill level as either a vampire or hunter wins. Depending upon whether they win as a vampire or hunter, the winner receives a corresponding sexual reward.

Suck! Board Game Design

The game is intended to be fairly simple in design and easy to play. Most of the interesting elements of the game will come from the activity cards. These cards will provide various foreplay ideas combined with flavour text to integrate the erotic horror theme. But the board does provide the context and setting for the game play. Let’s take a look at it in more detail.

SmallSuckVampireBoard Developing Suck! A Vampire Themed Adult Board Game Design

Originally I wanted to have foreplay and game activities written on the squares. To reduce the visual clutter and increase the potential variety of erotic activities, I opted to leave most of the squares blank. The four labelled corners are special in that they are theme related reference points that can be used in a number of ways. The fang and heart symbols are symmetrically spaced around the board and indicate that a corresponding activity card should be selected for play. The blank squares will be rest locations – I figured you don’t need to be performing foreplay activities after every single move.

You’ll notice there are no obvious start or end locations. Essentially, the game is designed as a chase between vampires and the hunters/victims. The board is designed so that the male and female players sit opposite each other with the iPad between them. Since they are trying to catch each other (there is a reason), they also start on opposite sides of the board. The female player starts on the Dungeon and the male starts in the Castle. If you’re captured, you’re sent back to your start location.

Movement will be determined by rolling dice and is normally clockwise unless indicated otherwise by the dice or cards. Since we are not using regular real dice, the number and variety of sides are unlimited. If you are just going for the number of spaces to move, a single die would be sufficient. However, for this game, we can add a bit more variety by including foreplay activities with the numbers. It’s sort of like having sex dice but with numbers too. As in the Strip Tease game, the dice can have an action and a target (lick nipple, kiss neck, etc.) but we can also include movement numbers on each. A simple rule of play would be that if you roll any number, you move that number. If you roll a foreplay activity you do not move but rather perform the pleasuring task. In the event you roll two numbers, you get to choose which of the two to use. This can be very important in a chase scenario. Tweaking the probabilities of obtaining the various possibilities will need to be done as part of play testing to see if this game mechanic works or not.

The chase or hunt for each other is intended to be an important part of the game dynamics. Some kind of reward for catching your opponent is required (level increase and/or opponent level decrease for instance) to encourage this behaviour and stimulate excitement based on it. Also, there needs to be various game play elements designed to support it. For instance, the cards could send players to one of the four corner locations or to the nearest heart/fang symbol as a way to leap ahead or behind the other player. Landing on either of the corner locations could also provide some related benefit or disadvantage. For example, if your opponent is on a corner location, a rule could be that you cannot pass and must stop at the location in front of them. By being blocked, you are in a position to capture them once they move again. But as a benefit for blocking you, you could be required to strip, kiss, take a drink or perform some other activity. These situations would not occur very often so the activity should be appropriate to the frequency – stripping, kissing and drinking combined might work.

Foreplay & Game Activity Cards

The game is designed with two decks of cards each designated by the heart or fang symbol corresponding to the hunter and vampire respectively. These cards are intended to integrate the erotic horror theme and foreplay instructions. They are also intended to add various game play activities such as transporting players to different locations or altering movement in some other way. For instance, a card might send you to the Dungeon combined with a foreplay activity that involves spanking your lover. The cards will also be the primary way for players to increase their vampire/hunter levels or decrease the level of their opponent.

Each game card should have a theme related title and some game play instruction. The instruction could be a foreplay activity, a game play activity, a reward/penalty challenge or a combination of these. Various cards could be designed to give players a choice of two actions. Interesting decisions can make the game more interesting. Creatively combining sex with these choices can definitely make the game interesting. Making choices later in the game that effect either player’s level markers could be crucial to victory even if they have to get nasty, kinky or dirty to win. This can make the game more intense near the climax.

Normally I prefer to include separate male and female foreplay/sexplay activities so that you can be more specific regarding the body parts involved. However, for this game, a gender neutral set of foreplay activities will need to suffice for a few reasons. I want to keep the board layout fairly simple so only two decks of cards will be used and they are allocated to vampire and hunter activities. Also, I am anticipating the need for more text on each card to accommodate the erotic horror flavour content combined with the foreplay and/or game play activities. Granted, the cards could be made larger and still fit in the board design. With larger cards, they could be split with separate male and female activities. I’ll leave that as an upgrade option.

One of the challenges with foreplay games is that you usually want to progress slowly from tame sensual activities to kinkier or more intense sex play. For instance, when pleasuring a woman, you might start with kissing and fondling then sucking her nipples etc. before diving into oral sex. With a random set of foreplay cards, it is just as likely that you could draw a “lick her clitoris” card before getting her stripped down first. The cards could be written in a way that forfeits the activity and points if the activity cannot be performed yet. Also, there should be an easy way to gracefully decline certain activities until both players are ready for them (maybe forfeit a level). However, in a sex game, you do want to challenge players to experiment with different types of sex play even if they are initially a little reluctant.

Foreplay Activity Ideas

The foreplay activities on the vampire/hunter cards are intended to be consistent with the erotic horror theme. This is one of the most challenging aspects of this adult board game design. Normally sane people don’t associated romantic and pleasurable sex with horror. Here are a few ideas to give you a sense of how this might be done:

  • Werewolves doing it doggie style
  • Air sex in front of a mirror pretending to be having sex with a vampire
  • Wicked hand job with a finger exploring taboo territory
  • Growling while passionately kissing/ravishing your lover’s body
  • Caressing your lover’s body with frozen holy water (ice cube)
  • Licking, stroking or brushing pentagrams, crosses or other symbols on various erogenous zones
  • Zombie sex involving lots of moaning and groaning as you eat each other
  • Pretend to play dead as your lover attempts to make you move with only their tongue
  • Cherry lube or red wine licked from your lover’s navel or nipples
  • Glass dildos, vibrators and butt plugs used as vampire “killing” devices
  • Oral sex as a vampire seduction technique
  • Laying of Hands or fondling
  • Haunting whispers of seduction and hot breaths to send shivers down your victim’s spine

Once you start, there are lots of possibilities but it’s still a daunting task to create a good variety of cards that balances variety of foreplay with game play. This is my next challenge. If you have any ideas you would like to see in the cards, leave a comment.

The next items on the to do list for this adult board game design includes creating the player and level meter token images, the card template images, the dice images, the rules document and the EveryGame XML config files. I’ll also be scanning through my sex and relationship enhancement books for inspiration to generate more card ideas. Maybe I’ll read a few stories from the Hot Blood Developing Suck! A Vampire Themed Adult Board Game Designseries of short stories too. I really wish they would come out with the next version of this series – amazing stories.

Suck! Vampire Themed Adult Board Game Design Details

In my previous post I introduced an adult board game design challenge based on a vampire theme. The working title is called Suck! It’s intended to be a foreplay game flavoured with tongue in cheek erotic horror. In this post, we’ll take a look at some design ideas leading up to a prototype board layout.

Board Game Design Constraints

As indicated in the previous post, Suck! is intended to work with EveryGame for the iPad. This introduces a few design constraints. There are also a few game elements from the concept outlined previously that should be worked in if possible. Although not “must haves”, they are factors to consider when developing the overall layout of the base image that makes up the iPad display and user interface. Here is a brief list of some of the key design constraints and desired elements for this adult board game:

  • Base image size 1024×768 pixels
  • Dice mechanism integrated into the board layout
  • Sex dice type mechanism with action/target words
  • Two decks of cards with flavour text, foreplay ideas & game play activities
  • Vampire/Hunter symbols on board locations map to one of the two card decks
  • Vampire/Hunter level indicators for each player (first to the top wins)
  • Location squares/circles are large enough to display simple foreplay or game instructions
  • Simple, clean design with minimal fancy graphics (my artistic skills still a little rusty)
  • Minimal on screen instruction or label text
  • Red and black primary colour scheme
  • Designed for a couple (two players) in a sexual relationship

Note that there are still some more advanced features of the EveryGame system that I have not yet explored. In particular, I believe it has the ability to use larger or multiple board images and tabbed displays to show more game elements. But for this iteration of Suck!, we’ll stick with a single screen image. As you can imagine, this key design constraint impacts the board design and layout significantly.

Design Ideas

Take a look at the Oral Sex adult board game. With a few fangs and some alternate activities, it would be fairly easy to transform this board game into a vampire themed sex game. My original thought for Suck! Was to create a board design in the shape of a pair of lips with fangs or even just the fangs by themselves. After sketching a few trial designs, the graphics just did not seem appealing. With the other design elements I was thinking of including, the layout became a little cluttered.

A cross, coffin, heart or bat shape could also be used. With a bit more thought and stylistic flair, each of these shapes could be made to work but for me, based on my quick sketches, they were not looking the greatest.

A dungeon or castle layout in the form or different rooms or a maze was another possibility. Or maybe a country layout with various paths leading between a castle, church, graveyard, village and other points of interest. Although these ideas have potential, for this particular iteration of the game design I was thinking something a little less elaborate.

Referring back to my Strip Tease game, I pondered reworking it into a vampire theme. Instead of heading toward a central bed, both players would be striving to become the first vampire safe and sound in their coffin or tomb. A third “player” representing the victim/hunter could be added to interfere or help them in some way. I do like this concept since the existing game elements include a bit of strategic competition and involves chasing each other. Modifying the Strip Tease base image would be relatively simple. I could reuse most of the game mechanics and XML config files too. The cards would be modified to have flavour text more appropriate to the vampire theme. Various activity locations would be positioned along the board to add a bit more variety as well. This might include more BDSM type activities for instance.

Note that in the concept above, both players are vampires to start. Alternatively, both players could be victims trying to get safely home with a vampire hunting them down. But in this scenario, players would be sacrificing each other to the vampire rather than cooperating to save each other against a common foe. Could work but let’s not.

So, using the Sorry! style game, both players would be taking on the role of vampires. The winner would then become the vampire Lord or Queen and take “control” of the other player as their slave to service all their deviant desires. Sounds good. However, one of the game elements I wanted to include is the idea of the player transforming into either a vampire or a hunter based on their actions throughout the game. This would make it more interesting by giving players various choices and encouraging decision making throughout the game. Also, the activity cards could be made more engaging since they could tie in with this design element in various ways.

My initial thoughts for Suck! involved having two meters or level indicators per player. One meter would record the vampire level and the other would be the hunter. Essentially the good and bad in everyone that develops or is revealed based on the choices we make. The first player to get one of these levels to the top wins either as the vampire or the hunter. Which one of the two determines what they win. For instance, oral sex vs intercourse.

In this scenario, each player takes on the dual role of vampire and hunter/victim in kind of a training mode. You are not fully a vampire or a hunter until you reach a certain level. This retains a competitive element and gives a reason to chase each other around the board (otherwise it could be just a card game).

Suck! Board Game Design

After a number of paper sketches and a few layout attempts in Adobe Illustrator, I simplified the board design to a capture just the key elements in a fairly clean looking image.

As you can see from the image, it’s essentially a circular path in the form of a square. Only the two key icons representing the vampire and the hunter/prey are included. The corner locations are labelled with the intent that they be starting locations and target destinations referenced by the cards. The two level meters for each player are on the side (circles now but could be chain links or blood droplets). The location for the two decks of cards is obvious. The dice though are located where the two fiery eye like symbols are placed under the title. The two dice will be used for movement and random foreplay.

Players will start at opposite sides of the board and chase each other around the board performing foreplay activities on random turns. Landing on the lips or heart symbol allows players to perform a card based task to hopefully increase their levels or reduce the levels of their opponent. Of course there will also be a benefit for catching your opponent on the board.

Although fairly simple in design, the dice and cards will provide the basis for developing the vampire theme combined with appropriate levels or foreplay throughout. In the next post, I’ll go through a few design elements in more detail and discuss how they relate to the game play concept that evolved to fit the board layout. We’ll also look at some ideas for the cards and some initial rules.
